THEATRE

photoLeslie Scott Dweir has been director of the Silver Creek High School Theatre Company for the last 4 years and leads the Drama Club.  He has performed in pit orchestras and music directed in theaters throughout the Denver area since moving from New York seven years ago. For the last ten years, during the summer months, Leslie is a Theater Director/Music Director at the Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts in New York. He has composed a number of musicals that have been performed by companies throughout the United States.

From 1975 – 1982 Leslie was the Composer in Residence at the Harry Chapin Theater Center. In 1982 he founded and was the Artistic Director of Theater Arts in Education until moving to Colorado. He and TAE performed and led workshops through the New York, Tri-State Area at Arts and Humanities Conferences, Education Conferences, Superintendent Conferences, as well as providing Theatre in Education Master Classes at various colleges.

Leslie is proud to be a member of the A Wing staff and the accompanist for Mr. Skelton’s Vocal Groups.
