Bingo is our main fundraising for the performing arts programs throughout the year. Through bingo we are able to provide many opportunities for our students. Bingo provides the only funding for the Scholarship Program. Help us to continue to be successful by volunteering your time.

SCOPA BINGO Volunteer Info!
FLOATER: Must be at least be 14 years old. This is the position where all new volunteers start. The floaters set up all the bins at the pickle bar which is where we sell all the pull-tab card games. Floaters also sell progressive and double action game sheets during the night which are sold at the pickle bar and on the floor. At the end of the Bingo session, floaters will help clear all tables of trash and put away any bingo e-machines. At the direction of the manager, they will help take supplies to the storage closet.
BANKERS: Must be at least 18 years old and been a floater for at least two sessions. Interested parents should sign up as a BANKER TRAINEE and we will have you train for one to two sessions. There are two bankers at each session and they are in charge of the registers where they sell bingo packets and e-machines. They will count all the money from their registers and all the money coming from the pickle bar and specials sold on the floor. At the end of the bingo session, they count all the money for the night and prepare the bank deposit.
CALLERS: Must be at least 15 years old. Interested students and parents who have worked at least four sessions can sign up to be a CALLER TRAINEE. They will train with an experienced caller for at least two sessions by sitting with them while they call. Callers must be confident as some bingo players can be demanding and passionate about the game.
MANAGERS: Each Bingo session has a session manager who must be at least 21 years old. They must have a certificate from the Colorado Secretary of State which they can get by taking an online test. They are trained to do all the other Bingo positions as described above. The manager is in charge of the evenings bingo session and needs to make sure everything runs smoothly.
TRAINEE: This position is for any qualified person who would like to train as a banker or caller.
BINGO GAME DETAILS:
All games take place at the Longmont Bingo Alley, 640 19th Street, Longmont.
Volunteers for the Sunday session should arrive at the Bingo Alley by 4:30 as we begin selling to customers at 5:00. Volunteers are usually done by 8:30.
Volunteers for the Tuesday session should arrive at the Bingo Alley by 5:30 as we begin selling to customers at 6:00. Volunteers are usually done by 9:30.
